The Tea Story

It was a Sunday evening and I was sitting with my friend on her house' rooftop. Everyone in my circle knows about me that I am a die hard fan and a true lover of Tea and Coffee. 

It was nice tea in my hand with a special flavor. It was prepared by my friend herself, and she learnt it from her Mom. 

I asked where do you get all these spices and mixes  ? 

"No" She Replied. "We purchase them from specific old sellers from our village, in the natural form, means in whole as they are in ground or on branches" She Aided. "Then We grind them here in house and mix them by hand" She continued. I was mesmerized and sipping the tea with that evening just like I was breathing moments. 

" It is not new for me, many of my friends, my daddy's friends compliment us on a regular basis" She Finished. 

My eyes were wide open. I asked "can you sell it?" I mean it is really handmade, every one needs because there are mixes with added colors, flavors or aromas. 

She showed no excitement like I expected. She replied "why would we do that? There are larger companies. They are producing at mass scales and we are trying to make it by hands instead of machines, packing in a paper bag and will expect to sell it? Come on, tell me some more silly than it."

"At least we can try. May be we are not that large. We don't need to be. Maybe our flavors will be light, may be they would dull in color. But at least they are natural, pure and without added flavors. They are purely herbal, and fresh. We will prepare on order. 

"If our customers find it really useful or if they like it naturally, then good. At least we are not coming up with the same machine made, added flavored, pre mixed tea spices. we are giving them as the nature gave us. Let's try at least." I added enthusiastically.  

Who else could understand the natural flavored tea's presence in the kitchen shelf than a true tea lover. 

We started that journey not that long ago. I favor good health by being in this small mission of flavored tea home made business.
